Mould spores use these nutrients to grow.</p><p>Fungus gets bigger. The mould grows into long, thread-like strands called hyphae. Hyphae are like the roots and branches of a tree, and the fungus takes in food through them.</p><p>Buds appear . Buds called sporangia孢子囊 grow at the tops of the hyphae. These are where spores are made. Each sporangium can contain tens of thousands of sports.</p><p>Buds burst. Eventually the sporangia burst open ,and new spores fly out. The spores are so light, they float away on the breeze ,and the cycle continues. Single-celled spores are light and float like dust.</p>
