• What is mammal? 什么是哺乳动物？

Mammal is a warm-blood animal热血动物 (as a dog, mouse, bear, whale, or human being) with a backbone脊椎 that feeds its young喂养幼崽 with milk produced by the mother and has skin usually more or less covered with hair.

Almost all mammals give birth to live young. 几乎所有的哺乳动物都是胎生的.

Mammals are the group of vertebrate animals脊椎动物 which form the class Mammalia哺乳类. 

They have fur它们有皮毛 and a very precise和非常精确的 kind of temperature regulation体温调节功能.

拓展1⃣️：Circle Bear

What you need:

Circle Bear printables

Brown craft paper

Wiggly eyes (optional)

Black marker

Scissors

Glue stick

What you do:

Print Circle Bear printables and trace onto brown craft paper. Place the circles in order from largest to smallest. Then, have them place and glue the circles on the matching circles on the picture (place the largest circle last). Decorate the bear with the black marker.

What you need:

Bear Goes to Bed Mat printable

Picture Cards for Sorting printable

Bear Goes to Bed Sorting Activity Cover Sheet

Scissors

Glue

Manila envelope

Marker

Two-pocket folder

Instructions:

1. Remove cards from the bag and place face up on the table.

2. Let child choose a card and name the picture.

3. Let child decide whether the picture's name begins with /b/ as in the word "bear" and "bed." If it does, he/she can place the card on the bear's cave. If not, he/she places the card in a separate pile.

4. Repeat with remaining cards.

5. Let child flip over the cards to check the answers. Each card from the mat should have a letter B on its back.

6. Let child say the name of each of the pictures in the stack of cards on the mat.
