人教版教材必修三：阅读语篇教学设计

Festivals and Celebrations

实践英语活动观，

提高学生的学用能力

普通高中英语课程倡导指向学科核心素养发展的英语学习活动观和自主学习、合作学习、探究学习等学习方式。教师应设计具有综合性、关联性和实践性特点的英语学习活动，使学生通过学习理解、应用实践、迁移创新等一系列融语言、文化、思维为一体的活动，获取、阐释和评判语篇意义，表达个人观点、意图和情感态度，分析中外文化异同，发展多元思维和批判性思维，提高英语学习能力和运用能力。

中学英语教学大纲指出：“阅读是理解和吸收书面信息的最重要手段，它能给学生提供更为丰富的教育教学资源，要有计划地指导学生掌握科学、有效的阅读方法和技巧”。英语阅读在高中英语学习中起着非常关键性的作用,如何有效地获取阅读材料信息，内化和处理这些信息成为了很多学生在学习英语中的难题。阅读时无法对篇章中的信息进行逻辑性地整理，面对过多繁杂的信息内容，学生会逐渐产生无力感，失去对英语学习的信心。

思维导图作为一款优秀的发散思维工具，呈现的是一个思维过程，学习者能够借助思维导图提高发散思维能力，可以通过思维导图理清思维的脉络。（杨凌，2006）学生在阅读的过程中使用思维导图，不仅可以提升构建知识框架的能力，而且也可以有效联结新旧知识，使分散的知识点体系化、网络化。因此，运用思维导图进行阅读教学可以有效解决学生在阅读过程中存在的问题。

一、引言

阅读教学是高中英语教学的重中之重，已是普遍共识。当下，越来越多一线教师开始从仅仅关注单词、短语、句型和语法等语言点和简单查找信息的英语阅读教学中走出来，更加注重内容的深入理解和思维品质的培养。然而，由于对文本解读重视不够，对阅读文本解读不到位，教师在具体的阅读教学实践中往往将其简单化、程式化，最终滑落回到语言与信息剥离的“两张皮现象”，达不成阅读教学的目标。这种在阅读过程中割裂语言与理解的认识导致阅读课堂教学出现了很多问题。例如，有时教师不重视有效的信息梳理与整合，致使课堂“信息提取失败，理解受阻”；有时教师在词汇处理上“目标不明确”，处理方式上“蜻蜓点水”或“喧宾夺主”，词汇落实中“任务不匹配”或“违背认知规律”；有的阅读课堂上文本处理简单肤浅、阅读和思考时间不足，以至于问题设计“脱离文本内容、偏离主线、缺少必要铺垫、缺乏多元思维”等等（葛炳芳，2013）。归根究底，造成这些问题的根本原因就是文本解读不当、不足、不好，换言之，缺少综合视野下的文本多元解读。

      

下面从以下的阅读语篇教学设计：

Festivals and Celebrations阐述如何落实：

主题语境：人与社会——社会与文化

语篇类型：说明文

授课时长：1课时（45分钟）

一、文本分析

本课是一篇介绍节日与庆祝方式的说明文。介绍了古今中外节日的由来，种类以及人们的庆祝方式。重点词汇与节日及庆祝方式相关，如: celebration, origin, religious, ancestor, belief, gather, independent, agriculture, custom, admire 等等。本文的价值取向在于学生通过本文的学习，了解国内外的节日的文化，增加跨国文化知识，加深对我国传统节日以及文化的热爱，同时把中国深厚的传统节日文化传播到世界。

二、学情分析

本班学生英语基础相对薄弱，但学生学习态度比较认真，课堂上积极配合老师。大部分学生具备在阅读中提取关键信息的能力，但多数学生在信息归纳以及整合方面的能力仍有待提高。另外学生对节日及庆祝方式的相关词汇积累不够，使他们在介绍我国传统节日时存在比较大的阻碍。

三、教学目标

在本课学习结束时，学生能够：

1. 概括语篇大意，梳理文章结构，获取不同节日的类型，庆祝的时间、目的、方式等相关介绍信息。

2. 根据所获取的节日信息，归纳共同要素，客观分析各信息之间的关联，根据其逻辑性有效地归纳整合。

3. 用所学的英语描述、比较中外文化现象，传播我国的传统节日文化。

学习准备：学生课前自学了新单词，预习了课文。

Step1

T：Ss talk about the past winter holiday and the Spring Festival:

   What have you done during the Spring Festival? Make a list of the things that you did to celebrate the Spring Festival.

     开学之初，春节刚过，创设情境，以春节作为对本课关于节日的话题的引入，让学生更了解春节的文化和有关的词汇表达。

学习能力：认识到英语的重要性；对英语学习感兴趣；有学习动力。

    Ss brainstorm different festivals in China and foreign countries. Work in groups to draw two mind maps according to the ideas of the group members.

1. How many festivals do you know in China? What are they?

2. What festivals do you know people          celebrate in western countries?

附：学生的课上生成

     让学生列举出自己所了解的全球不同国家的节日。列举出中国的节日，制作思维导图，系统地整合已有的知识结构。形成阅读期待，让学生对这些节日的详细信息产生好奇。

     文化意识：通过中外文化对比，加深对中国文化的理解，坚定文化自信；了解中外优秀文化。

2. Tasks some of the Ss to give out their opinions.

l Scanning

Ss scan the passage and try to finish the following task in groups of four (GW):

1. Divide the passage into three parts;

2. Find out the main idea of each part;

3. Draw a mind map about the main structure of the passage according to the main idea of the whole passage and each part.

T invites two Ss to draw the mind map on the blackboard, and directs others to compare their map with the ones on the blackboard.

通过不同的阅读任务，使学生对文章每一部分的细节信息理解更加具体和深入。

1. Ss work in a group of 4 and draw a mind map on the paper with the key information of the whole reading passage based on the reading activities above. (GW)

2. T shows two samples of two groups on the screen, directs the rest of the class to compare with the ones on the screen.

3. Retelling the content of the text to your partners according to the mind map.

学生通过绘制全文的思维导图，加深了对文章的理解，对关键信息点的提取和整合得到新一步的锻炼。根据思维导图复述文章内容，锻炼了口头表达能力和概况能力。

学习能力：回顾全篇文章的关键信息点，梳理所学内容。

Assignments:

    Suppose your foreign teacher is very  interested in Chinese traditional festivals, choose one of your favorite traditional festivals and introduce it to your teacher concerning the time, the ways of celebration and why you like the festival etc.

让学生学以致用，把课内学习到的知识通过此设计应用到实际情境中。

文化意识：有传播中国传统文化的意识，能够用所学英语描述我国文化现象。
