1. 苏堤春晓

【藏头绝句】

苏子当年浚此湖，
堤边手种柳千株。
春来染作轻烟绿，
晓雾初开淡若无。

【白话翻译】

当年苏东坡疏浚西湖，
在堤道两边种了数千棵柳树。
春天来了，柳树穿上绿装，
就像晨曦中飘浮的绿色烟雾。

【英文翻译】

Su Causeway at the Spring Dawn

When Su Dong-po dredged the West Lake in those days,

Thousands of willows were planted on both sides of the causeway.

Spring comes and the willows wear their green clothes,
Like green smoke floating in the dawn glory.

【菩萨蛮】

轻舟荡起惊飞鹜，六桥隐隐长堤路。
柳色淡如烟，晓风残月天。
贤名千载颂，诗与湖山共。
何处遣幽怀，桃花临水开。

【白话翻译】

摇荡的小船使水鸟受惊而飞起，
长堤上六座拱桥隐约可见。
淡绿色的柳树像飘浮的霏烟，
晨风吹来，一弯新月挂在天边。
他的美名被人们称颂了一千年，
他的诗歌与美丽的湖山共存。
这里才是你消除烦恼的地方，
桃花在水面上绽放。

【英文翻译】

Pusaman（Bodhisattva Pretty, the tune name to which Ci Poems are composed）

The rocking boat rouses the waterfowl to fly;
The six bridges on the causeway are faintly visible.
Pale green willow branches are like floating smoke,
In morning breeze, the crescent moon hangs in the sky.
His name has been praised for a thousand years.
His poems coexist with the beautiful lake and hills.
This is the place where you are away from your troubles,

And the peach blossoms bloom above the water.
