Christmas is coming.The countdown to Christmas begins on December 1.You received this countdown gift from your friend Abby. From tomorrow on,we will open one flap on the box each day.When you and your friends has collected all the gifts,Santa will come to our home.

Shall we get ready for the holiday? what do we do for Christmas? At Christmas, we spend time with friends and family and give and receive gifts.

We also like to put decorations up inside and outside the house.Decorations sound like fun,right?

What do we need to do?

First, we need to go get a Christmas tree.

Do we need to go to the Christmas tree farm and cut one down?No,we have made one out of branches and some ornaments.

It looks great!Let's set up the Chrismas Tree and decorate the tree.

How do we decorate the tree?

Let’s have a look,what are the ornaments.

Snow flakes are the most common ornaments on the Christmas tree , you can imagine a green Christmas tree covered with snow flakes, you will feel the romance, you can also buy some big snowflakes to hang on the roof. Or you can try to make snowflakes out of piper cleaners.

Christmas wreath are usually made of evergreen conifers ['kɑnɪfər]it protect their children from evil spirits ,let’s hang it up on the door.

The bells are rang to inform the birth of Jesus, from heaven, others use the bell to bring people back to God without losing their way,

tinsel ['tɪns(ə)l]:let’s tie the tinsels around the tree.

Pine cone:they are dry and hard, they grow on the pine trees.

Top pentagram/ˈpɛntəˌɡræm/ ：is called the top star, also called the star of Christmas or the star of Jesus, It symbolizes the star that led the three wise men to Jesus.

Christmas stockings are used to collect gifts.when you wake up you will fine your stockings filled with presents under the tree.

That is a mistletoe. It is another common decoration at Christmas time.If you find yourself under the mistletoe, you need to kiss the person you with.It's interesting.

Poinsettia

One of the most popular plants at Christmas is the poinsettia.

Ivy is an evergreen plant that grows up walls or along the ground. Artificial ivy used to make Christmas decorations and wreaths.

Next is the really fun part.We put all of the decorations on the tree and around the house.On the tree, we put ornaments, lights, ribbons and tinsel with an angel sitting on the top.Around the house, we put more ornaments and candles.We also hang up the Christmas cards we receive or place them around the house.Then we hang up lights outside and put a wreath [ri:θ] on the door.

The are several steps to decorate the Christmas tree.

1. First set up the Christmas tree stand,then insert branches in the support . Adjust each layer of needles and branches ,so they look nice。
2. Secondly, fix the branches in the Christmas tree. There are many different ways to do it,it’s up to your imagination. Usually branches are put in a way where an upper layer is crossing a lower layer. Assemble the branches one by one. Do not be too neat when assembling, a little more casual look can better show the natural posture of the Christmas tree.
3. Step 3：When the branches are fixed, The Christmas tree can be decorated , the Christmas lights should be laid out evenly, The tree can be surrounded by layers of decorations. Finally ,hang your chosen ornaments on the tree. It’s better not to put too many decorations on the Christmas tree. It’s better to be simple.

We’ve got a beautiful christmas tree, I hope Santa callus will come.

There are still 15 days before santa comes. You’d better watch out! You’d better not cry! You’d better not pout!Because Santa Claus is coming to town. Santa is gonna find out who is naughty or nice.He sees when you’re sleeping. He knows when you’re awake. He knows if you’ve been bad or good.

No, you can't.

Santa only comes when children are sleeping, so you must go to bed.

But before we go to bed, we leave Santa and his reindeer a treat – a glass of milk and some cookies for Santa and a carrot for his reindeer.

When you wake up you will find your stocking filled and presents under the tree.

Then, we'll open them all up.

And then, we'll go to Mina's house for our Christmas party.
