Mum: Lets play another game about spiders. But first we should decorate the room.

We will make a cobweb or a new spiderweb.

Which one do you like?

A cobweb is an old web covered with dirt and dust. A new spiderweb is beautiful pattern of thin thread.

Mum: I will show you how to make a web. I have some blu- tack and yarn. We should stick the yarn on the wall with the blu-tack蓝胶.

Stick the yarn from the left wall to the right wall, from the right wall to the left wall. Keep doing this until our room looks like a cobweb.

And then we sing the'eentsy weensy spider song,but we will try not to touch any of the thread in the room, the one who touches the yarn will lose the game and chant the rhymes.As soon as thethread is touched,we will see the vibration.

A spiders web consists of two types of silk, one sticky and one non-sticky .Spiders can tiptoe through sticky silk. If it gets stuck, it's not afraid,because spiders produce an oily thing that quickly releases themselves from sticky silk.

This is easy to understand. You know, bubble gum is sticky, but if you have oil on your fingers,it's hard to get stuck with bubble gum.

If a fly buzzes too close to a spiderweb, it gets caught on the sticky threads. The flies try to pull away. But it can’t escape. It gets stuck in the web’s thread.

Most spiders grab the fly with their two fangs. They wrap the fly with silk so that it cannot move. Then they inject a poison into the fly. So the fly stuns.昏迷

Spiders don’t have teeth. They can’t chew. They can only drink.Once the fly’s body turn to mush, the spider can slurp it up.

After that deliver venom out of the fangs.The poisinous liquid could dissolves the prey.Once the prey have turned to mush,you can sip it up.

We pretend the gum is the sticky silk ball/blob. You are the bola spider who is hidding on thebranch. Here comes a fly. swing your blob at the fly. The fly gets stuck on the sticky ball of thread.

The poison dissolves the inside of the fly's body.
