Yesterday, we arrived at Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang, Guizhou, in the evening. It was raining continuously. Since we came out of Tibet, we had rain every day. So we could be free from the sun, and the air was moist and fresh, and we felt much more comfortable.

It is a long historical development place of the Miao people in China. It is an open-air museum, showing the world an epic of Miao people's development.

The night scene is very bright, like a fairy Pavilion in the sky and the world, with lights against the flowing water, green trees, flowers and plants, the corridor, and the whirling phantom, hovering up the hilltop layer by layer, like dots of starlight from near to far, from big to small, densely inlaid on a huge black velvet curtain, which is very beautiful.

The beauty of Tuojiang River is nothing more than the simple suspension tower, eaves and black tile wall. Black tiles and smoked wooden buildings are interdependent. Carved wooden s pick out various kinds of red lanterns. Green hills, green waters and old black tiles walls reflect clear waves and hang over the River channel, forming a unique channel. The scenery shows the artistic conception of elegant ink painting.

Not far away, one high, one low and two rows of stone piers crouched in the river, which is called "jumping rock" in the official history. Rock jumping is more than 100 meters long. The neat rock piers of one high, one low and two rows stand in the Tuojiang River. Because the pedestrians have to jump and jump when crossing the river, they are named "rock jumping".     

不远处，一高一矮两行石墩蹲踞于江水之中，正史称为＂跳岩＂，因为在这个桥上拍过巜乌龙山剿匪记》等影视作品，所以野史称为＂土匪桥＂。现今已成为古城传奇里不可或缺的景致了。

跳岩长百余米，一高一低两排整齐的岩石墩立于沱江水中，由于行人经此过江时要一跳一跳，所以得名为"跳岩"。    

走过这一个个的墩子需要胆量和勇气。

一石一木两道＂跳岩＂遥相呼应着。

      沱江跳岩在清末曾被洪水冲坏，現在的跳岩是凤凰县政府1999年底在原址修复的。
