街上派对

Today is a special day. Lots of people are having street parties.
今天是个特别的日子。很多人都在开街头派对。
It's the street party today.

今天是街头派对。
Hooray!
万岁！

Albert helps Dad put up the flags in the street. Rosie puts up the balloons.
艾伯特帮爸爸在街上竖起旗子。罗西埃把气球挂起来。

Grandad makes a long table with bits of wood andboxes.

爷爷用木头和盒子做了一张长桌。

It goes all the way down the street.
一直往下走。

Grandma puts a cloth on the table.
奶奶把一块布放在桌子上。

Mum puts the music on.

妈妈放上音乐。

Soon the table is full.
很快桌子就满了。

There are sandwiches, salads and fresh fruit. There, is ice cream, jelly and cake.
有三明治、沙拉和新鲜水果。有冰淇淋、果冻和蛋糕。

Everyone brings a chair to sit on.
每个人都带着椅子坐着。

Everyone brings a plate and a cup.

每个人都带着盘子和杯子。

“Time to start the party!" says Grandad. Everybody cheers.
“是时候开始派对了！”爷爷说。大家都欢呼。
What would you like to eat ?

你想要吃什么？

I'd like jelly and ice cream!
我想要果冻和冰淇淋!

But Albert is worried.
但艾伯特很担心。
People are putting too much food on the table.
人们把太多的食物放在桌子上。
“Stop!", says Albert. But they don't stop. The piles of food get bigger.
“停！”阿尔贝说，“但是他们并没有停下来，成堆的食物越来越多了。
People put drinks on the table.
人们把饮料放在桌子上。
There is water, cola and lemonade. There are pots of delicious sweet tea.
这里有水，可乐和柠檬，还有美味的甜茶。
“Stop!”shouts Albert.
“停，停止!”阿尔伯特喊道。
But the music is too loud and nobody hears.
但是音乐太响了，没人听见。
Albert looks at the box at one end of the table.
阿尔贝看了看桌子一端的盒子。
Suddenly, there is a loud noise.“CRACK!"
突然，有一声巨响。
Albert picks up his chair and runs.
阿尔伯特拿起椅子跑过去。
He pushes the back of the chair under the table.
他用椅子的背放在桌子下面。
Rosie smiles at Albert.
罗西对阿尔伯特微笑。
“Why don't you sit down and eat something?”
“你为什么不坐下来吃点东西？”
Albert smiles back.
阿尔贝也笑了。
“I think I will, " he says.
“我想我会的，“他说。
”Great, " says Rosie. “Here's your chair. ”
“太棒了”，“罗西说，“你的椅子在这”。

“CRASH!”
