I use the dictionary to look up the words from time to time and then read this word again and again. Although it is tiring to look for the words,I think when I complete the reading, I feel proud of myself and think I have made progress. I 'll keep the habit forever. <br>Since I realizes that I myself is keen on English, I make a decision to study this interesting subject well. I know that reading English is very important. So I read or listen to English before going to bed every evening. It becomes a good habit. I think when I read It in the evening I can take it to my dream and remember it forever.<br> I was usually busy with my homework in the summer holiday. In my free time, I often tried to read some foreign stories. Instead of reading the foreign novels in Chinese, my parents asked me to read the novels in English directly. Although I usually met a number of new words I could't understand at first. I solved this problem at last. I learned how to look up the words in a dictionary quickly. More importantly, I was really able to enjoy the novels. This experience teaches me how to stick to something and the best way to solve problems. During this summer holiday read some English books.l also met with some new words. After I used an English-Chinese dictionary, I looked up some new words, I can also find some sentences including new words in order to learn how to use them. Sometimes I can even learn English by myself with the help of it.All in all ,learning English with a dictionary is a good choice. This summer holiday our English teacher gave everyone a set of Shanghai Students ' Post. At first,I thought it was difficult for me because there were too many new words in every article.So I felt laborious to read it.But I couldn't give it up.I looked up almost every new word that I could't understand and signed the phonetic symbol on them.Then I gradually felt easy. I realized that if we make great efforts to something, we will achieve success some day. Now I begin to love reading it. This summer holiday was very meaningful for me to read and study English everyday.I always saw some foreigners in the streets. l noticed that l probably had to use English to work in the future.l spent a lot of time on Shanghai Students’Post. When l met some new words,l didn’t look them up at first. Instead, l wrote down the possible Chinese by reading all the article.Then, I looked up these words in a dictionary. l think it is a useful way to study English and l will keep on this habit forever.l hope l will make great progress in the new semester. Everybody needs to do many things everyday.Because l’m poor at learning English.I often speed my free time reading English while on a bus,waiting for someone and in other rest time.I think I have made progress.So we should spend our limited time on making our beautiful future. I didn't know the importance of English until this summer vacation. I came to the United States for a short time to participate in the summer camp. I also had experience abroad before, but this time it was different, because I didn't have a teacher to translate. Because I had to communicate with foreign teachers, I asked my classmates for some words in the evening. If I don't want to be rejected by others, I will work harder. This summer holiday,my English teacher left us a special homework, that was to read SSP every day. There were some words I did not understand in it .At first,I felt nervous to do it because I didn’t understand it surely. later,I felt more and more confident when I read it because I was keen on it. I could always use the dictionary to look up the word I didn’t understand to help me understand it. Although it was tiring for me to understand completely, l will keep on reading it.This is my story with SSP. During the summer holiday, l agreed that we should take full advantage of time to practice ourselves .l was pleased with this book that can learn local English.l tried to remember English words and use them in daily life. In another hand, my life was filled with ssp. It has a lot of different stories, even a letter from Taylor's fans, pet rock:a stone. l felt very meaning and happy. I had a date with both of them . This summer holiday was very meaningful for me.Our English teacher asked us to read a article on SSP everyday. At first,I think it was very difficult for me to read so many unknown words.So I felt very nervous.But that was what I had to do.Then I looked up those words in the dictionary.And I began to understand the words slowly and tried to read them.I gradually felt easier. But after a while, I thought it was much easier to understand than before.I always used a dictionary to look up words that I didn’t know. Although it is very difficult for me to read them all, I think I will read it very confident and easy in the near future. This is my story with the SSP in this summer holiday. During this summer vacation, our English teacher asked us to read SSP every day. I date SSP every afternoon. At first, I didn't read very well. I needed to look up new words in the dictionary. And I needed to read every article at least five times before I could read it well. But the more I went back, the easier I found it. Reading SSP also made this summer vacation more meaningful. Summer holiday is an important landmark in learning career.I think I should use this period to train my English because I’m not so good at it. And I met many unfamiliar words in SSP. So I thought it was a good choice for me to make a difference to my English. I looked up every unfamiliar word and tried to understand it. After this summer holiday, I think I have made great progress in English. I had a meaningful summer holiday with Shanghai Students' Post . It was difficult for me to read because there were plenty of new words . But they also represented that I still had a lot to learn . So I decided to read the article out before I went to bed . To my surprise ，I not only improved my pronunciation but also memorized these words. In a word , I'll study harder and keep on this habit . During this summer holiday,I read an interesting book:Chicken Soup for the Soul.At first,there were so many words I couldn't understand that I thought it was boring.But when I looked them up in the dictionary,I found there were some important philosophy in it that I could learn from.This book also helped me learn many interesting words and sentences. It is meaningful for me to read this book in summer vacation. This summer holiday was special because our English teacher gave us a special homework to read SSP and complete the quizzes every day.I think this homework is very meaningful and useful.I learned many new English words and improved my English reading ability. When I met some difficult English words, I looked them up on the Internet. After this summer holiday, I will be better at English. This summer holiday is very special for me. Our English teacher asked us to accumulate two good sentences every day. At first，I thought it was hard for me，some words were very difficult to remember. But on the other hand，these sentences can help us learn English better than before. So I insisted on writing two sentences every day. All in all，I hope I can use them in the daily life some day. During this summer holiday, I learned a lot of new words from SSP and other useful books , I was very excited to do such a meaningful work, although sometimes there were some words that l couldn't understand, l look them up in the dictionary. l think it was very good for me to develop the ability of learning English. And two sentences are so useful that l think l will use them in many ways. l think it’s also good for my spoken English.l hope I will make more progress in English. This summer holiday,I have learnt a lot by reading an English book. At first,the new words were a big challenge for me，I looked them up on the Internet. Little by little,I found that I could understand the meaning of the message by myself. Besides,I found the story was so attractive that I was deeply immersed in the book. It was very exciting for me to experience the writer's life.I will keep reading English and get fun from it. This summer holiday is meaningful for me.I learned lots of new wards form the book The Great Gatsby. I bought this book on the Internet, I bought the English version and the Chinese version.At first,I read the Chinese version get to know the story.When I knew the story,I started reading the English version. Fitzgerald is one of my favourite writers,I like his book very much,I learned a lot in this book.I think it will bring some convenience when I am back to school. This summer, my mother bought me an English book called Lady Camellia to read. It was a big challenge for me. At first, it was too difficult to read through. There were always words I couldn't understand, but I finished reading them with my persistence. I learned a lot of new words and got many interesting stories, which helped improve my reading ability. In this summer vacation, I totally fell in love with English reading! <h3>English is a very common language. We can see it almost everywhere. Last summer holiday, l went to Thailand with my parents. When we arrived at the airport, we lost our way because we couldn’t understand Thai. Luckily, the direction signs were also in English. It helped us find the way to the hotel. In hotels, we also had to communicate with the reception in English and consult the local travel route they recommended. And we rent the motorcycles in English to play around the town. English is very important when we traveled abroad . We won’t be able to travel well if we don’t understand English.</h3> This summer holiday, l had learned much from reading Shanghai Students’Post. For example，l have learned how to make less pollution，l've also known the attractions in London. We read this post every day，after reading it ，we also had some exercises to improve my English. It's a fiction called‘The old man and the sea’.There were many unknown words and sentences, so it was hard to understand what the writer was talking about. It was slow but I learned a lot of new words. The summer holiday was a good time to read books and learn English, I had a full time on it. It was nice. This summer holiday is unforgettable for me. That's because I read Shanghai Students' Post every day. Although I hated it very much, I still persevered it. I also learnt a lot of knowledge from it. They were very interesting and cool. Some words were difficult in it, so I read them again and again to remember them. Maybe English is a bit hard for me. But I will study hard and overcome the difficulties. This summer holiday learning English made me learn a lot. I hadn't realized the importance of good learning English habits before this summer holiday. l was told to read Shanghai Students' Post every day, but I thought it wasn't important . In the middle of the holiday, I read it and soon be fond of it. The articles were so interesting for me! I realized the charm of English and had a great time. During this summer holiday, I went to Guilin. When I decided to bring my homework, my mother told me to take SSP with myself because Miss Sun asked us to read it every day. In Guilin, my friend, Lesley and I not only played together but also read SSP every night. When I found difficult words, I would tell her at once. We found many interesting words in the dear SSP. I love the trip to Guilin with my friend and SSP.
