Activity 2: Basic Knowledge-What is “Beehive” and “Bee”?

Daddy: Do you know what bee is?

Daddy: This is a bee. Bees fly from flower to flower. Can you tell me where the antennas are?

Daddy: Yes, there is honey on its finger. The bear loves honey. It stretches its arm up to get more honey. Listen, what does the bear hear?

Zoey: Bees.

Daddy: Yes, the bear hears a buzzing sound, it is from the bees.

Daddy: Look at the bear. It looks scared. The bear’s eyes are wide and it covers its mouth in surprise. Who is coming out of the beehive?

Zoey: Little bee.

Daddy: Oh no, here comes more bees. The bees have spears in their hands. They look angry because the bear stealing their honey. Run bear! The bear runs away in a hurry.

Daddy: Look, the bees catch the bear. The bear crouches and uses its arms to protect itself. One bee flies down onto the bear and pokes the bear with its spear. Ouch, that stings! More and more bees come. They all sting the bear too. Bear shouts "Help”, but the bees don't stop.

Zoey: Yes.

Daddy: Bear runs away. The bees chase the bear. The bear shouts "Stop" and runs away quickly.

The bees go back to their beehive. They fly in a line with their spears in their hands. They want to protect their honey from thieves. Look at the bear. Can you see the bump on its head?

Zoey: Yes.

Daddy: Poor bear! Don't steal honey next time, bear.

Activity 4: Game-Let’s get moving

Daddy: Zoey, come here. Let's do some actions. Show me your hands.

Zoey: Ok.

Daddy: Follow me! Here is the beehive (show a fist). Where the bees are (show your other hand)? Hidden away where nobody sees (put your hand on top of the fist). Watch and you'll see them come out of the hive (put your hand vertical to the fist). One, two, three, four, five, Buzzzzzzzzz (wave your fingers in front of you like in the picture). Can you do that?

Zoey: Yeah.

Daddy: Let’s try again, ok?

Zoey: Ok. Here is the beehive. Where are the bees? Hidden away where nobody sees. Watch and you'll see them come out of the hive. One, two, three, four, five. BZZZZZZZZZ…

Activity 5: Game-Act it out

Daddy: Zoey, let’s play a game. You are a little bee. Daddy is a bear. You are hiding in the beehive. I will come and steal your honey. You will come out of the beehive and chase and sting the bear, ok?

Zoey: Ok.

Daddy: Let’s put on the headband.

Zoey: I like little bee.

Daddy: Ok, here you are.

Zoey: Thank you.
