The twelfth day of study. This morning we're going to Chinatown to find out what the Chinese city in London is like. This is one of the few places where we can experience the Chinese culture in a foreign country.

Chinatown is in Suhuo District, Westminster. There are some Chinese restaurants, Chinese merchandise stores and souvenir stores. In addition to the Chinese living in the community, there are a small number of Singaporeans, Malaysians, Koreans and Japanese.

London Chinatown has a history of more than 200 years. Its three main entrances are plaques with the words "London Chinatown", "Cathay Peace", "Fair weather" and so on. They contain doors with Chinese characteristics and have national characteristics. This is also a beautiful scenery of Chinatown.

There are many Chinese restaurants here. The decoration and furnishings inside are very similar to those in China. It makes people feel intimate. But we came earlier. We haven't opened the door yet. Otherwise, it would be nice to go in and have a bowl of food and talk with our boss.

In addition to the Chinese restaurant, I happened to meet a Japanese restaurant.

Turning around Chinatown, I found that the surrounding buildings were not very different from those of the British mainland. The concentrated distribution of those buildings with national characteristics was not very large. After walking for more than half an hour, I almost finished my stroll.

When I was wandering around, I turned around and found a building with Harry Potter's logo, but unfortunately I didn't know the details of it.

It happened that a row of shops were in stock and a long line of goods were discharged in front of the door. I don't know why so few people come to unload the goods. Fortunately, the weather is not hot and dry. This is also a little comfort for the workers.

Walking along, in an alley, I smelled a stench. When I walked in, I saw five or six garbage cans, a dirty water, which should be the place to dispose of or store garbage. The left side should be the back of some restaurants, discharging waste. A big brother sitting on the ground is concentrating on cleaning up the waste. It is admirable that he must have more endurance than ordinary people to do things in such a smelly environment.

In the street, you can also see dirty corners, or not far from an entrance, maybe because there are not many people. When the shop opens, these should be cleaned up. Who would think there is a stench in their doorway? In my mind, Chinatown should be prosperous, clean and tidy, rather than so from time to time there is a sour smell, my heart is still a little lost.

Perhaps every prosperous city, the back, misery and poverty, dirty and dark corner will exist, perhaps these "ruins" problem, can not be completely solved.

Before leaving, I passed a small church, wondering if it was mainly for Chinese believers to perform ceremonies. Even in a quiet, somewhat remote place, the solemnity of the church remains unchanged, and the architecture still reveals the classical atmosphere. The church is surrounded by green, with residents having picnics and chatting here. There are clear bells on the top of the church at regular intervals, which are remote and solemn.

After two hours of free activities, we returned to school.

午餐

Lunch

In the afternoon, we are going to have our last lesson. Today's topic is space flight. Set up scenarios and introduce courses as usual. I think the reason why the classroom here is more relaxed is also related to the capacity of the curriculum. The domestic capacity is large, students need to absorb quickly, and the atmosphere is naturally more tense.

Half an hour before class was over, we played two kahoots together, because we were leaving, and the teacher came up with a Chinese question. In the last ten minutes, the teacher asked us to communicate with the students around us. We could take some pictures to commemorate it. In order to cater to the atmosphere, the teacher put on a Chinese song expressing parting. The students also gave gifts to each other with international students. Thank you very much for the teacher's teaching, let us also experience the difference between Chinese and English education, feel the joy of the classroom. Everyone also gave the teacher their own gifts, gifts are not valuable, but on behalf of their own mind, a thank-you to the teacher, memories. Teachers also look forward to meeting their classmates again. It is also our luck to be able to study internationally at this age. We will meet soon and hope to see each other again in the future. See you around!

Dinner

Today is also my 16th birthday. I didn't tell anybody else to spend the day as usual. As a result, I didn't expect that the teachers and classmates carefully prepared a small birthday party for me. (Surprised and moved! )

British wind cake (this cake is also the shop that the teacher ran a lot of way to find, the selected cake). Thank you very much for your preparation.

Turn off the lights and light the candles. Birthday song, wish. Foreign birthdays are especially special and warm.

Today, there are a few successful students. Alumni and a beautiful master's degree students studying in Britain come to answer questions and puzzles for their classmates. They are all students of No. 2 Middle School. At this moment, they are gathered in London across the latitude and longitude of space, listening to their stories about their study abroad life and their views on Britain, and have some new gains! Before leaving, we also enthusiastically left contact information with each other.
