Lets play ants.

“ The ants go marching.See, this is the door of our nest/home，We live underground.Let s get into the nest. Follow me. This is a tunnel It's dark in the tunnel. An ant nest is made of a lot of tunnels and rooms.See. there is aroom. It s our room where we can eat and sleep.

Now, let's go outside. I have found a lot of things. I need your help to carry them to our room. march to the ground.

You might not like ants when they get in your food or crawl in your house, but they are pretty interesting insects.Ants live in large groups.A group of ants is called a colony. Each ant has a special job. The queen ant lays eggs, while the male ants mate with the queen. The other female ants are worker ants. They build the ant hill, find food and even act as soldier ants. Soldier ants protect the colony and sometimes attack other colonies.

Look what I have made.It's an ant city ，Come on, the ants go marching one by one. you can put the ants one by one.and look at the rain, it's raining harder.

wow. now the ants all march down to the ground, they are looking for the room,let's help them to find the correct room.

look at this big ant city. there are lots of rooms with different functions. there are nursery area（养育室）， there has eggs room（卵室），pupae（蛹室）， larvae room（幼虫室）， and there are some other rooms such as seed husking room（谷仓）， queen roon（蚁后室），food storage area（食物储藏室）， rest area（体息

室）， dining room（就餐室）， winter room（冬

眠室）.

can you put the ant in the right room? oh yes, you find the right room. this is dinning room, the ants eat food in this room. The queen doesn't tell the workers what to do. But the workers are busy .each ant has work to do .ants work together to keep the whole ant city alive.

What do they do to make the nest bigger?

Workers make the net bigger by digging new rooms and tunnels.

Where does the ant hill come from?

They use their feet to dig like tiny dogs. Then workers pick up pieces of dirt in their jaws and beards and carry them outside. Dirt from the digging is what makes the anthill.Ants are great diggers and builders.

Why do you think the nursery room is at the top of the city and the winter room is at the bottom？

Although an ant is a Hercules/ˈhɜːkjʊˌliːz/ 大力士. It can carry a weight equal to 50 times its own weight. Ants also have many natural enemies .Some animals came to our house secretly while we were away today. They left some footprints on our floor. ( We pretend the tissues are footprints.）

I found more footprints near ant castle. I think some animals must want to eat ants, so they have been around the ants castle， but because of the hard castle protection, they did not succeed.

They must still hide in our home. Lets go to search for them. How will we find the hidden animals. We only know their footprints. Bingo! We can follow their footprints to find them.Lets go. Take your flashlight and arrow. We must observe the footprints more carefully

Listen, what sound? What is hiding behind the curtain? Come out. We found you. We have guns,bows and arrows. If you dont come out, we'll shoot arrows. (We can scare it like this. If it is timid, it will come out.）/ˈtɪmɪd/

Oh, the bad guy. It still hides behind the curtain.I will go close to the sill. Could you get your bow and arrow ready to protect me?

I catch it. It is a pangolin./pæŋˈɡəʊlɪn/ It is good at digging a hole.

Pangolin is covered with scales.It is a night animal that hunts for food at night, and is curled up into a ball when attacked by an enemy.

Pangolin loves to clean. Every time before the poop, it will dig a small pit around its cave,excrement discharged 释放into the pit, and then covered with soil.

Follow me. There must be another animals hidding in our home. Look at the footprints.Maybe it is hidding in the wardrobe．I'll open it. You get ready to protect me.

　　Chickens have feathers and wings, but they cannot fly very far. They get around by walking. Our chicks are exploring the world with its fellow chicks. Chicks eat feed, which is a mixture of grains. It helps them grow strong.Our chicks sprout feathers and a tiny red comb and wattle. In a few months, it will be all grown-up.

A five-month-old female chicken is old enough to lay eggs.

之前看过绘本，不是很难。

We need to learn  to determine whether a number is odd or even. 

Even numbers can be divided evenly into groups of two. //If a number is even you can break it into two equal groups.

Meanwhile, odd numbers can’t be divided into groups of two as they can’t be matched in pairs.

Odd numbers are not all in pairs

Other trick （A trick is a clever way of doing something.窍门 ）that can be used to determine odd and even numbers is that even numbers always end with digit of 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 while odd numbers always end with 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9.
