Make sure the eggs are lying on their sides. The larger end of each egg should be slightly higher than the pointy end. Hatching There are two chicks hatching out of the egg shell today.We feed our baby chicks,observe it and talk about the following pictures. Day seven The chick is only one inch long-about as long as your big toe. Even so, it is already starting to look like a chicken. The chick's eyes,stomach,brand and toes have started to grow.
