There are two main types of trees: deciduous [dɪˈsɪdʒuəs] 落叶植物 and evergreen. Deciduous trees lose all of their leaves for part of the year. In cold climates[ˈklaɪmɪt] , this happens during the autumn so that the trees are bare throughout the winter. In hot and dry climates, deciduous trees usually lose their leaves during the dry season. 就是我们平常说的树对吗？对！

Evergreen trees don't lose all of their leaves at the same time -- they always have some foliage[ˈfoʊliɪdʒ] .They do lose their leaves a little at a time with new ones growing in to replace the old ，but a healthy evergreen tree is never completely without leaves.

Camphor tree is a species of evergreen tree.Look at the leaves on the ground.They are losing their leaves,but we also can see the new leaf buds growing on the tip of the twigs.

Look at these rose red camellia /kəˈmiːlɪə/ .

A camellia is a large bush that has shiny leaves and large white, pink, or red flowers similar to a rose. 茶花

The leaves of Camellia next to a cluster of clusters, thick, like a small pompon . 而山茶花的叶子一簇挨着一簇，密密的，像个小绒球。

Damon found out the rose red Camellia was a perfect flower,while the pink Camellia was an imperfect flower. A flower which has both the male and female part is called a perfect flower.

We saw anther and filament of the camellia ,Jointly ,they are called stamen,then we removed the male part of the camellia to find the female part-pistil. It became easier to see Stigma,style,ovary and ovules after that.

The filament is a long tube that supports the anther. these tiny little particles on the anther are called pollen grains .Damon would like to make up a story about the pollen grains.He acted out the process of fertilization.

A bug sits on the anther and carry this pollen grains to the stigma which is at the Top of the pistil.

The pollen grains germinate and grow inside the style.

We talked about the spring on our way back home，and learned some common flowers.

The spring is coming and the weather is warming up. 

Everything is so dead looking in winter and then things start coming back to life in spring

I like the warm mild weather

The little trees have begun to sprout and the flowers have bloomed. 

The little animals are awakening from hibernation.

We can all the different kinds of flowers at the park.

I like seeing the flowers and trees bud and bloom.

Rape flowers are easy to find in spring.

I like the smells in the air, fresh cut grass,tilled earth, blooming flowers

Lawns are greening up in spring草地慢慢绿起来

1. Cut the body and legs from the black paper.
2. Draw a head shape and cut it out from the light green paper.
3. Glue head to the body.
4. Draw eyes on the bubble wrap with a black marker, Do you know why we use bubble wrap to make it eyes? Because fly has compound eyes. Each eye contains 4000 lenses .These bubbles look like the lenses.
5. cut the eyes out and paste them onto the head.
6. Cut the wings from the bubble wrap and paste them onto the body.
