Draw an umbrella on the construction paper referring the real umbrella and then cut it off.

Bottled Tornado 

Tornado is a dangerous nature force,  but the tornado we are going to make is a safe one, it wont hurt us. This experience will keep for weeks, you can shake it up once you are in the mood to observe it

 we need: a plastic or glass jar with a lid (a mason jar would work well but we use a pickle jar)

water and dish soap

 Tips: 1. Fill the jar with water 

          2. Add two or three drops of dish soap into the water, tighten the lid and check if it is sealed and no leakage

          3. Shake it by holding the jar, you may have many ways to shake the jar, anyway you can find out what works best for you. For me, holding the jar upright and shaking in the clockwise fashion works best for me, but in the counter clockwise fashion, you can try

         4. Put the jar on the dinner table and observe, what will happen?

        Do you see the rotating system Tornado

        Toby says it is not tornado, it is hurricane, because it moves on water. 

Bottled Rain:

 what we need:  one transparent bottle, we have no big bottle, but we can try the drinking cup

  Tips:  1. I need to boil some water at first because the hotter the water is, the more obvious the condensation is.

2. Step back, I don't want to scald you, recently boiled water is extrimly hot. Pour the recently boiled water into the cup, see, the water vaper rises up insidethe cup, this is called evaveration. 

3. Observe carefully, do you see the water drops falling dwon along the wall of the glass? Ues, that is the rain how forms, this process is called condensarion, rain is one form of precipitation. 

Go to supermarket

Supermarket is dovided into several different sections, we can find milk and yogurt in the dairy section, ice cream in the frozon section, fast-to eat meat in the deli section, juice in the beverage section, vegetable and fruit in produce section, bread in bakery, preservation bag in household item section, candies in snack section

At first, go through this aisle to the diary section. Check the expiry date of this yogurt, look at the date, it is the production date, yes, it was produced yesterday, very fresh

This is the sauce section, look, vinegar, soy sauce, sesema paste, pepper, oyster oil

Let is go to the snake section to buy skittles, at first toby wants to buy drops ( hard fruit candy), but he changes his mind to buy mashwallow instead. Beef jerky, beef jerky, crips, egg cracker, biscuit stick, specy gluten

The last section we go is household item section to find preservation bags, this is zipper bag, i think it is too little small, i prefer the preservation bag.
