My first time of being a moderator

I never got a chance to host a party until the year of 2017,I applied to be a host actively. At that time,no one takes being a moderator seriously,that means barely have someone do a lot of job before.

However I paid a lot of time and energy for this was my first time and I always wanted to try my best. What we moderated was a New Year party,since this kind of party need more than one host,I also had a duty to find someone right. This kind of thing is pretty easy,we soon found what we want,but the following one was hard.

Because I was kind of anxiety that time,and hardly believe they can write the words properly. I decided to write all by myself. I consulted lots of host word and asked our Chinese teacher who used to be a official moderator. Her patience encouraged me a lot,she also taught me how to make a sound. Then I finally finished and shared my words to other moderators and they all agreed with me. But the process of practicing was really hard,everyone was so busy doing their own job cause there are two of us also had their single program. So every time we needed to waited for them. Fortunately,at my request,we carefully prepared before the party.

The whole party was good,but not great,and after the whole thing,I kind of feel tired. I get through the 0 o’clock in my dormitory with my friend,with less feeling. I can’t feel anything about the new year.

First time of being an organizer

This was the second time I took part in a whole school activity,the first time for me to be an organizer.

Things happened in choir,one day our music teacher Mrs.Wang told she already applied for holding a concert. And she asked us whether did we want to be a organizer or played on the concert,as I have no talent,and I haven’t played piano, the only instrument over years. What I can do was being a aback-stage crew. So I chose to be a director of the whole play.

There were numerous of jobs waiting for me,and for the good luck,I had a capable partner who helped me a lot. Her name was GaoJing who is also a friend of mine.

The first thing we got to do was informing everyone to sign up which turns out to be really hard. We told the information in front of everyone,but barely had one sigh up. The reason of this was most of people thought there were plenty of time for them to sigh up. So we spent a lot of time to urge them and gave them the dead line. After they sighed up,we still could not treat the whole thing lightly cause they hardly ever prepare as they thought they got plenty of time to prepare.So during that time,we were busy following up the situation of every singer or player.

With the concert day recently upon us,we started recruiting more workers helping us to make sure everything went on smoothly. And we started having a rehearsal which was even harder. Imagine all the people gathered in one room perform efficiently, however this kind of view would never happened in our school forever,at least recent years. Some of people didn’t want to wait,and I bare to say everyone wanted to show up at their show time,not at first,and they wanted to leave after they played.

Because I was still a freshman in these situation,I asked them not to leave until everything was over. But still,somebody didn’t show up from cover to cover(form A to Z / from stem to stem). After I was familiar with these kind of thing,I realized there were some better ways ,and no need to push they to much which only make everything worse.

Second time of being an organizer

After the concert,our music teacher Mrs.Wang thought I was pretty good,so she gave me another job. Holding a presentation at the end of the semester,at this presentation,we always have some English Talent Shows or Chinese Talent Shows. This job was easier than holding a concert, and I still go to GaoJing for help,and we did this successfully,and more relaxed.

But the rehearsal was not easy,because the time was hasted ,we rehearsed twice in two days. Everyone was tired and grumbling, this was no one’s fault cause we just took the examination and everyone should take a break.

Third time of being an organizer

Last year,the year of 2018,we got a perfect New year party. At first,I didn’t mean to do it. Mrs.Wang asked me before,but I rejected as I was applying for the university. However,our principal still gave me the chance as this would be my last chance. First I thought it was kind of troublesome,and the time runs short. But on second thought,I accepted. It would not be a big deal as I had already held for several times.

And this time I did with another partner BingBing as GaoJing was not here,by the way I really missed her. The process was not hard as the last several ones,but still need to spend plenty of energy and patience.

But the end proved is worth. I would not say I suffered from it,but I did make a concession,and at once,I can only cried in the bathroom by sitting on the tiny closestool. But again, it is worth. I also learned that some one who is good enough also felt self-abasement,and you probably hurt people around you accidentally.

We had a lot of accidents that day, our host hurt herself which leaded her nearly couldn’t walk. The PPT haven’t done by the noon,the screen reacted slowly. What surprised me the most was, everyone loved this party,and all thought it was perfect. And hugged me for a long time after the whole show.
