This is a dial thermometer,watch carefully and you'll see there two dials on this instrument.The big dial with the long red needle shows us the temperature of our home.The smaller dial is a hygrometer that shows us the humidity of our home.The humidity in our house is only twenty-two percent.It means the amount of water contained in the air in our room is low.The house is not comfortable because of the low humidity. Let's turn on the air humidifier and wait for a moment to see what will happen.

After twenty minutes,the neddle of the hygrometer was pointing to twenty-four percent.The humility in our bedroom is rising.

I drew a big umbrella on a large piece of butcher paper and drew six raindrops for hung them underneath it.I don’t have a template for the raindrops, although that really would have helped with assembly.I was just cutting blind!You’ll see that some of my raindrops are little and some are huge.We punched six holes on the bottom angles of the umbrella，then assembled our umbrella and write onomatopoeia words on each raindrop to represent the sounds of different types of rain. We came up with words like pitter patter,splash,platter,splush,splosh,splish.

We also thought of different types of weather that make sounds,thunder, lightning, wind, hail etc.

1.Types of thermometer.

Tap on the thermometer to see what the temperature is.a thermometer is a tool that tells you how hot or cold something is. Tap the arrow to change the scene. The higher the number on the digital thermometer, the hotter the temperature. Try another thermometer.
