Into the Death Valley, 一条大道直通死亡谷

Firing up - What an exhilarating experience to get up early and see the sun peeking through and eventually breaking away from layers of clouds over the Dante’s View and lighting up the roads, mountains and valleys of Death Valley!

沙丘风痕 Traces of Wind on Sand Dunes - Love how those sand ripples extending and expanding through the sand dune, esp around the plants..like water trickling down or the traces of wind sweeping through.

平衡 - Balance of Life - In the mid of desert and rocks, here is the quiet and serene view with the life of water and plants! Just what we need!

入夜 - Colorful Sunlight painted the sky,  yet to give away to the dark shadow of night, Joshua trees reaching out to the sky, To usher in the night of stars and city of light!

色彩波浪- Wave of Colors - Magic of time and water creates waves of colors and tunnel of lights

梦幻 - Soft light, sunsert glow, island dream!

林间的光轨 - Venturing in the snow forest in Vermont, I almost got lost but then followed the path of light leading to where I came from!

早上的月全食- Although we only caught half of moon eclipse before the moon set down in the morning hour from east coast, It was still breathtaking and magic moment!

二月份夏威夷群岛风起云涌

Wait for the light 夏威夷火奴鲁鲁等待第一缕曙光 - Waiting for the sunrise at the sea is always exhilarating, gazing at the changing color of sky, the moonlight giving away the first rays of orange lights over the horizon, the gradual brightening across the dark sea!

Ocean Rush - Love the uniqueness of Hawaiian coastline each layer written with earth history and sculptured by time and water!

黑色沙滩的潮涨潮落- Late afternoon golden glow, lush green on black sandy beach, white blue ebb and flows of ocean waves! Just loving it!

日落，云飘，火山口沉静 - At the peak of highest point of Hawaiian Island, Sun hiding and slipping below the sea of cloud waves, shadows mixed light moving across the valley of dormant volcano craters, wind carrying the diligence of the moment

云间穿梭 - As the last rays of sunlight lingering and darkness starting to set at the highest point of Big Island, Hawaii, Mauna Kea, 15000feet above the sea, the wuthering wind blowing through valley dotted with dormant volcano, temperature dropping to below zero, and car dashing through the clouds down the mountain

火山爆发后的烟云 - Traveling through expansive vista of Hawaiian Volcano National Park, the smoke from lava burning and volcanic activities hanging over, became the best compass for direction.

云海上观星 - Mauna Kea, the dormant volcano on Big Island of Hawaii, is the highest point with more than 4200 m above the sea. however, due to the snow storm, the road to the peak was closed. So I can only gazed at millions of stars at 3100 m level. Still it’s above clouds, feeling floating in the air and gazing into the Magic Cosmo.

四月春天的葡萄牙从里斯本的城市风光到Algarve的迷人海岸，Porto的夜景，大西洋沿岸的日出日落

Morning Rush - Early morning after red eye flight, super refreshing standing in front of Lisbon riverfront, experiencing morning rush!

Belém Tower的辉煌日落 - Belém Tower is a UNESCO world heritage site because of its key role played in the Portuguese Age of Discovery! Built in early 16th century as part of Lisbon defense system, it’s a perfect example of Manueline style of that time. 

River ebb and flow, boats came and go, for hundreds year, it has been standing witnessing the history and the development of the city!

双桥相会，日夜边缘 - This iconic new modern bridge Vasco Da Gama in Lisbon, the longest bridge of this kind, more than 10 miles.. spending couples hour from before sundown till blue hour just relaxing and mesmerizing!

大高桥低码头的汇合- New age of Lisbon symbolized by Vasco Da Gama, longest bridge in EU, 10.7 mile. After long day strolling in the old town, we came by at blue hour, amazed at how powerful the bridge shood at night!

深夜高桥挺立 - Love how lines and stars shining against the backdrop of dark night,

世界尽头的灯塔 - Cape St. Vincent near Sagres is the most southern and wester point of Eu continent. In the good old days where the earth was thought to be flat, this lighthouse pointed at the end of the world.. and today we arrived at the end of the day, sunset after the rainy day!!!

黄金时刻 - Just before the Sun dipped behind the horizon..

Albufeira海岸线日落而息- As the day quieting down, light dimming lower and softer, the waves, the time, slowed down, even the tiny bird on the rock standing still.. 海滩的蓝色- After sundown, still roaming around at Praia Sao Rafael Albufeira and noted the fisherman at the tip of the cliff, quiet and waiting for his bait..

海湾蓝梦 - Lingering at Praia sao Rafael till blue hour and Coastline of Albufera lightening up in the dark..

雨天巷深- It is very easy to get lost in such old town like Evora, the ancient Roman town in the mid of Portugal.. but sometimes roaming aimless in the rain day is quite relaxing.

祈祷-Roaming in the corridor of the Roman historic church at ancient town of Evora Portugal, I saw her standing there..quiet.. sincere.. attentive..

历尽风暴大浪的独处力量- Heard about this beautiful chapel overseeing the greatness of northern Atlantic Ocean. Until we got there in the stormy late afternoon in the little hope of catching the last ray of sunlight, we were awed by its power and solidarity in the face of the slashing rain and pounding waves!!

雨后Porto古城河岸 - It has been raining the whole day, finally caught a moment of sun breaking through sky, shining upont the riverbank of Porto, Portugal, full of Old World Charm..

夜里桥光 - Dom Louís I Bridge is a double-deck iron arch bridge built in 1886, my favorite bridge in Porto. It connects the old town and riverbank of Porto with Vila Nova de Gaia, the popular Port wine tasting waterfront. It was raining a lot when I visited there, but caught a real nice and clear moment to enjoy the light of the beautiful bridge at night.

风暴后的彩虹- Baleal North beach perfect for surfing, we were busy watching surfers and waves lapping in the rain and in the sun.. then magic moment of perfect rainbow across the storm and sky, and the reflection!!! Just the moment of smile!

冲浪去- Windy day at the northern Atlantic shoreline of Portugal, perfect day for surfing

风暴过后初现光 - Drenched in the sudden rain, we still enjoyed the dynamic movement of clouds waves and solidarity of the rocks along St. Vincent Cape, the most south western point of European continent.

飞奔观海- I long heard about this beautful exclusive beach Ursa next to Cabo da Ricca In Portugal. But at the end of rugged 4-way drive only path, I can now see this wonderful heaven lying beneath but not the clear path to it over the hills in the valley. Now the race is on to explore and get to the heavenly beach before sunset!

追寻- Following the brook, finding the exquisite chapel on the beach facing the roaring Atlantic Ocean!

Lighthouse at Cabo da Roca is claimed to be the westernmost point of the European continent! Bathing in the sunset and embracing the wind..it’s a brand new world!

走向现代诺亚方舟 - Singapore famous nightview of the Marina Bay Hotel with the modern shape of ark on the top!

狮城彩夜 - Esplanade Bridge downtown Singapore leading to the traditional financial district of the city center! So bright and shining, can’t reallu don’t need any light :-)

无眠曼哈顿的夜灯 - No matter how many years living in Big Apple Manhattan, still love the night light from World Trade Center and downtown!

曼哈顿中城回音- After a stormy day, came a windy night, walking along the Hudson River, the lights from Manhattan midtown and Newport town center shined through the clouds and lit up the moody sky.

初夏的六月，鲜花盛开，小镇海港，夕阳浪漫

入夏之门 - Lovely day to stroll around Fort Tyron with the spring flowers in full blossom and path to wonderful summer!

蓝色时光-Lights along the pier shining through the blue hours, leading to the bluest of ocean and night!

小港宁静 - Sitting on the riverbank, watching the harbor traffic getting quiet, sipping a glass of wine, seeing the days and night going by ..

暮光回港- Wait till the sundown cruising back to the harbor, enjoying last glow of the day and quietness of the night!

海滩夜色美- Sundown, low tide, summer night, we can roam around and venture into those unknown sandbars usually submerged in the water now glistening under the dimming light..

夏夜欢声笑语 - Evening stroll along the beach park, came across happy party on the beach, the music with the glory sunset! Just relaxing summer night fun!
