执教三十多年，担任了《钢琴课》、《钢琴即兴伴奏课》和《钢琴自弹自唱课》的教学。教学上兢兢业业，因材施教，培养了一批批优秀的教师和钢琴学科带头人。其学生也在许多比赛中取得了优异的成绩，多次获得奖项。
一直坚持学习，提升自我。1992年曾参加中央音乐学院周广仁大师全国高师钢琴教师培训班。2001年参加了南京师范大学硕士学位班进修。2011年作为上海音乐学院高级访问学者进修钢琴表演专业，在上音进修期间多次参加国内外钢琴大师的培训活动。
教学之余，积极参加了钢琴教学研究活动，在《音乐研究》、《音乐探索》等核心期刊和省级相关期刊上发表了十多篇有关钢琴的学术论文，曾多次获得省级的奖项 。
