I wondered how I could walk to work without an umbrella for about 1 km in the heavy rain. I waited and waited but the rain never stopped. I was so anxious. Suddenly I saw a man was closing his umbrella outside a store. I asked him for help and he lent me his umbrella. How lucky I was! How kind the man is!</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 20px;"> 今天早上,当我走下公共汽车时,大雨倾盆而下。我想知道在大雨中,我怎么能在没有雨伞的情况下走路大约一公里去上班呢?我等啊等,但雨却一直不停,急死人了!突然,我看见一个男人在一家小商店外面关上伞。我向他求助,他把伞借给了我。我是多么幸运啊!这人真好!</span></p> <p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 20px;">  It reminded me of another story. One evening last year, when I was waiting at the bus stop, it suddenly began to rain heavily. I noticed that a young lady beside me who didn't have an umbrella. Without hesitation, I went up to her and shared my umbrella with her until we got on the bus.</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 20px;"> Be kind to others! </span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 20px;"> Pay it forward. </span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 20px;"> Help others. </span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 20px;"> Help yourself!</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 20px;"> 这使我想起了另一个故事。去年的一个晚上,当我在公共汽车站等车时,突然下起了大雨。我注意到我身边的一位年轻女士没有伞,我毫不犹豫地走到她跟前,和她分享了我的雨伞,直到我们上了公共汽车。</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 20px;"> 所以,请善待他人!把爱传出去,帮助别人,帮助自己!</span></p> <h1><font color="#010101">  </font><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">One day in 2016, I took off my suitcase and backpack out of a bus. After walking for several hundred metres, I suddenly realized something was wrong.&nbsp;The </span><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">size, color and style of this box was almost the same as mine, only the brand is different! &nbsp; &nbsp;</span></h1><h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);"> 2016年的一天</span><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">,我从公共汽车上取下行李箱和背包,走了几百米后才突然发现不对劲,定睛一看,行李箱竟然拿错了!!该箱和我的箱尺寸、颜色、款式几乎一模一样,唯有品牌不同!</span></h1> <h1><font color="#010101">  </font><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">There were gifts for my parents, my clothes and commemorative photos of my old teachers and classmates of the university in my suitcase, which are worth far more than a few boxes of milk, apples and pears.</span></h1><h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);"> 我的箱里有给父母的礼物、我的衣物以及我的大学老师和同学的纪念照片等,实际价值远远高于此箱里的几盒牛奶、几个苹果和梨等。</span></h1> <h1><font color="#010101">  </font><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">How could I find my suitcase without a ticket or the number of the bus? And if the passenger who had got off the bus took the suitcase away by mistake, it was even more impossible to find it. What could I do then?</span></h1><h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);"> 既无车票也没记车号,我如何才能找到我的行李箱?而且若是已下车的乘客错拿了行李箱,就更无法找到了。怎么办?</span></h1> <h1><font color="#010101">  I wanted to call 114 to ask the telephone number of the bus company, but my Samsung mobile phone didn't work at that moment! Less than two hours before the train left, should I take a taxi to the bus terminal to find my suitcase? It was about half an hour's drive and it was unlikely to be found!!</font></h1><h1><font color="#010101"> 我想打114查询公交公司的电话号码,但是我的三星手机那时却无法使用!离火车出发不到两小时,我是否应该打的到汽车终点站去寻找我的行李箱呢?大约半小时车程,而且还未必能找到!!</font></h1> <h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">  In a moment of great anxiety and despair, a taxi suddenly stopped beside me. To my surprise, the bus conductor got out of the taxi. She came after me with a female passenger and changed the suitcase back to me! I picked up the suitcase by mistake when I got off the bus. It was my fault.</span></h1><h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);"> 正在焦急万分、一筹莫展之际,一辆的士在我身边突然停下。出乎意料,那个公共汽车售票员从的士上下来!她带着一个女乘客打的过来追我,把行李箱换回给我了!是我下车时错拿了行李箱。</span></h1><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">  Many thanks to the bus conductor and the passenger! I didn't expect to find my suitcase!</span></h1><h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);"> 实在太感谢公共汽车售票员和那位乘客了!真没想到我还能找回自己的行李箱!</span></h1><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <h1><font color="#010101">  The night before my departure, my Samsung mobile phone broke down and kept rebooting. It was too late to repair the phone or buy a new one. One of my runner friends Mr. Li lent me a mobile phone to use.</font></h1><h1><font color="#010101"> 出发前一晚,我的三星手机坏了,总是不断重启。来不及去修理手机,也来不及购买新手机,跑友小黎主动借手机给我使用。</font></h1> <h1><font color="#010101">  </font><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">When I passed the security check at the airport, the staff said that the two bottles of "Ricqles Peppermint Cure" I brought with me could not be brought into the cabin due to volatile chemicals, which could easily explode and must be checked. Running to check my luggage again, I was informed that it had passed the time of shipment and I could only handle it by myself. Should I just throw it away? What a pity! I bought them in Hong Kong!</span></h1><h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);"> 在机场过安检时,工作人员说我带的两瓶“双飞人”药水因为有挥发剂,容易爆炸,不能带进机舱,必须托运。飞奔去托运行李,却被告知已过托运时间,只能自行处理。难道只能把它们扔掉?岂不可惜!我专门去香港买的呢!</span></h1> <h1><font color="#010101">  </font><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">A good idea suddenly occurred to me. I asked the assistants at the "Samsonite" luggage and bag shop nearby to keep the </span><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">"Ricqles Peppermint Cure" for me. They agreed without hesitation. I came back a few days later to pick up the goods, and they didn't ask a cent of the safekeeping fee. I sent them some little gifts.</span></h1><h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);"> 我突然想到一个好主意,我请附近“新秀丽”箱包店的售货员帮我保管“双飞人”药水,她们毫不犹豫地答应了。几天后我回来取货,她们没收一分钱保管费,我送上小礼物表示感谢。</span></h1> <h1><font color="#010101">  </font><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">Four times adventures were breathtaking, but nothing dangerous happened finally. They made me feel warm in heart and sweet aftertaste.</span></h1><h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);"> 这四次冒险惊险刺激,但最终都有惊无险。</span><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">它们让我感到温暖,回味无穷。</span></h1> <h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">  There was an article in the English exam paper. Its theme is "Pay it forward". It didn't mean “Pay for goods in advance” but called on everyone to help others and promote and influence the people around to be kind to others.</span></h1><h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);"> 一份中考英语模拟试卷里有一篇文章,主题就是“Pay it forward”,不是指为商品提前支付,而是号召大家多帮助别人,并且影响和带动身边的人也对人友好。</span></h1><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">  This is also the principle that I always adhere to: Help others as much as you can. Helping others without expecting anything in return, you will be happy and proud.</span></h1><h1><span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);"> 这也是我一直奉行的做人做事原则:乐于助人,尽可能地能帮就帮。助人不求回报,你会得到快乐和自豪。</span></h1><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 20px;">  And the karma, if you don't care the return of the pay, in your need of help, the return came unexpectedly!
