As we all know, listening, speaking, reading and writing are the four main skills in learning English. On November 28th, an excellent English teacher named Zhang Silong showed us an effective and lively English class. All the English teachers in Da Wang Dian Middle School took part in this activity and learned a lot from this class.

Mr. Zhang started his class with a Christmas song “We wish you a Merry Christmas ”,and then asked the students to guess the name of the song. This way of leading in stimulated the students' interests greatly.

Next, he presented the learning goals in this class and checked the students' prereview by playing a turntable game.

Mr. Zhang completed his teaching procedures through four challenges.

Challenge One: Let 's guess!

In this part, he also used a way of game to attract the students' attention , encouraged the students to open their mouths to speak aloud and freely in class. All the students took part in this part actively.

The most attractive part is that Mr. Zhang created an authentic stuation --WeChat to present the important language item in this class. We all know that WeChat is a most popular way of communication in our daily life. This leads the class to the highest tide.

Challenge Two: Let's speak! Mr. Zhang encouraged the students to open their months to speak aloud in class. All the students took part in this part actively.

Challenge Three: Let's listen!

The aim of this part is to practice the students' listening ability.

Challenge Four: Let 's speak and write! Aim to practice the students ' speaking and writing skills.

The team leader is presenting their group achievement.

At last ,Mr. Zhang made a summary about the important language items in this class.

The Final Emotion Education: Manners make the man! Tell our students to enjoy our friendship and enjoy our life!

Mr. Zhang set a good example for us about our English teaching methods and the design of our English classes. I think we will have a long way to go on English teaching. As teachers, every one of us should have our own special ways to make our classes lively and interesting. Come on!
