在那野花盛开的地方（赏花节）

离美国加利福尼亚州首府一个半小时车程的北台山自然生态保护区，每年春天千姿百态各种野花竞相绽放，纯天然的奇花异草随风摇曳，一望无际。游荡于花海之中，感叹大自然的神奇。借用纪伯伦的一首优美的咏花诗，配上绚丽多彩的原生态美图，希望给朋友们带来美的享受！

北台山（North Table Mountain) 自然生态保护区，占地三千多英亩

原属私有领地，

一九九三年建立公有自然保护区

毎年春天三至四月，

遍山野花盛开，

是踏春赏花绝妙之地

如诗如画的景致，

正好与诗人纪伯伦的 

"花之歌" (Song of the Flowers) 相配：

我是大自然的话语, 

大自然说出来，又收回去，

把它藏在心间，然后又说一遍……

(I am a kind word uttered and repeated by the voice of Nature)

我是星星，

从苍穹坠落在绿茵

(I am a star fallen from the blue tent upon the green carpet)

我是诸元素之女：

(I am the daughter of the elements）

冬将我孕育;

春使我开放;

(with whom Winter conceived; to whom Spring gave birth; )

夏让我成长;

秋令我昏昏睡去

(I was reared in the lap of Summer and I slept in the bed of Autumn)

我是亲友之间交往的礼品

(I am the lover's gift)

我是婚礼的冠冕

(I am the wedding wreath)

我是幸福时光的记忆

(I am the memory of a moment of happiness)

我是生者赠与死者最后的祭献

(I am the last gift of the living to the dead)

清早，

我同晨风一道光明欢迎

(At dawn I unite with the breeze to announce the coming of light)

傍晚，

我又与群马一起为它送行

(At eventide I join the birds in bidding the light farewell)

我在原野上摇曳，

使原野风光更加旖旎

(The plains are decorated with my beautiful colors)

我在清风中呼吸，

使清风芬芳馥郁

(and the air is scented with my fragrance)

我微睡时，

黑夜星空的千万颗亮晶晶的眼睛对我察看

( As I embrace slumber the eyes of night watch over me)

我醒来时，

白昼的那只硕大的独眼向我凝视

(and as I awaken I stare at the sun, which is the only eye of the day)

我饮着朝露酿成的琼浆;

听着小鸟的鸣转，歌唱

(I drink dew for wine, and hearken to the voices of the birds)

我婆娑起舞,

芳草为我鼓掌

(and dance to the rhythmic swaying of the grass)

我总是仰望高空,

对光明心驰神往；

我从不顾影自怜,

也不孤芳自赏

(I am a part of joy and a part of sorrow. But I look up high to see only the light, and never look down to see my shadow)

而这些哲理,

人类尚待加强

(This is wisdom which man must learn)
