24 students and 2 leading teachers ( Mr. Williams & Ms. Leyden ) from our Australian sister school— Sunshine Beach State High School paid a 4-day visit (April 2-5) to our Changshu Ouqu Middle School. <div><br></div> 来自我校姐妹学校—澳洲阳光海岸中学的24名学生和2位老师（Helen & Sam）对我校（常熟藕渠中学）进行了为期4天的友好交流访问（2018年阳光海岸中学赴藕渠中学修学营）。<div><br></div> <h3>This is the fourth time of successful Sino-Australian exchange between students and faculty since two schools established sister school relationship last year. </h3><div><br></div> 这是自去年两校建立姐妹学校以来，双方进行的第四次国际师生交流活动。<div><br></div> <h3>The tour, titled “Sunshine Beach State High schools & Ouqu Middle School Exchange Program 2018 in Changshu” shows the great concern over the prospects of development of two sister schools. </h3><div><br></div> <h3>本次修学活动，题为“阳光海岸中学赴藕渠中学2018交流访问”彰显两校基于合作前景的期许和重视。</h3><div><br></div> <h3>During the short 4 days, our school arranged diverse courses and events on campus and around Changshu for sister school kids to participate. 24 kids have been actively involved in curriculum such as travelling English, calligraphy, Chinese painting, basic mandarin, mathematics etc., as well as attending cultural exploration like Sino-Australian basketball match, excursions to Shang Lake and Shajiabang Wetland, Sino-Australian musical cultural performances and so on.</h3><div><br></div> 在短暂的四天期间，我校为姐妹学校学生安排了多样的校园课程与城市周边活动。24名学生积极参与了诸如旅游英语、书法、国画、基础汉语等特色课程，以及进行了中澳篮球友谊赛、文艺联谊会、沙家浜、尚湖风景名胜地等文化探索。<div><br></div> Through these educational and sightseeing activities, Australian students learned more about China and Changshu, Chinese students learned more about the world.<div><br></div> We shared joys and efforts. Two schools both will long remember the achievements we witnessed here in Changshu, China.<div><br></div> 通过这些教育及观光活动，澳洲学生增进了对中国和常熟的了解，中国学生增进了对世界的了解。我们分享了双方的快乐和努力。两校也将一直记住我们这次在中国常熟取得的成就。<div><br></div> <h3>Our special thanks go to the 24 host families, you are the true heroes, without your tireless support, your warmth and hospitality, the tour would be impossible.
